1. Create a metric

  1. Under the Metrics tab, click the + button located on the top right of the table.

  2. The Create a new metric dialog will appear on screen.

    1. Enter metric name and formula
    2. (Optional) Select Unit and Category and enter a Description.
      While these inputs ****are optional fields, we strongly encourage you to include them, so that other members of your organisation can gain a clearer understanding of the metric.

You can compose the metric's formula using the Opera low-code language, similar to how you would create formulas for setpoints or define smart alarms.

  1. Once you've completed the necessary fields, you can save the metric by clicking on the Create button on the bottom right corner of the dialog.

2. Edit a metric

2.1 Quick edit in Metrics tab

  1. Click on the desired table cell to edit information. The metric type column is the only uneditable input.
  2. Click outside of the table to save the modification.
