Variable mapping is a feature that enables Template and auto-metrics, helping you to share and reuse the same control formula across all the zones and sites within your orginization.

In this table, you will see how each of the specific metric is automatically mapped to a single template, indicating that they are the same type of data, just in different compartment, zone and site.
<aside> 👉🏻 Please note that the template is only available for metrics or setpoints that belong to at least one specific compartment. It will not be available for metrics that are site-wide, such as outside temperature.

If your metric is shared between multiple compartments but was not correctly mapped in this list. Click the Go to Edit mode button at the top right corner of the page, you will be able to modify these auto-mappings by re-selecting one or multiple compartments to which the specific variables belong. Once the mapping is correctly set up, click Save and return to Opera KoPilot to continue editing the control formulas as needed. For more information, visit Template and auto-metrics.
